Healthy Recipe Idea: Smoothie Bowl with Cookies
Looking for a quick, healthy recipe to make for breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack? Check out this yummy smoothie bowl that Megan (@sayimafoodie) created using Mmmly's Banana Chocolate Chip soft cookies. The cookies are a great source of prebiotic fiber and healthy fats!
1.5 frozen bananas
1 cookie from Mmmly
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Blend until smooth. Spoon into a bowl.
Microwave 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips with 1/2 tsp coconut oil, stirring at 30 second intervals.
Drizzle chocolate over smoothie bowl, and watch it magically harden! Enjoy!
